Each year, teams of Veterans from across Australia come together to compete in the Veteran Games. The Veteran Games provide an opportunity for Veterans to reconnect, challenge themselves, and experience the camaraderie of team competition.
By sponsoring a team of 10 veterans, you help ensure these Veterans can participate without financial barriers.
To sponsor a team you can:
Sponsor a team in full – $15,000
Cover the full cost for one Veteran team, including:
Travel & accommodation – Getting the team to and from the Games
Registration fees – Ensuring their spot in the competition
Team expenses – Covering additional costs involved in competing.

Tropic Thunder
We are a team made up of current, reserve and ex service members. Mostly RAAF with a drop of RAN, we have competed in the previous two games and built that comradery you find with highly motivated and team oriented people. Nothing is more serious than the goal, other than having fun achieving it and celebrating other teams’ wins.
With our loud cries of “THUNDER!!!” before every stage of the game, you will know where we are on the field and better rush over before you miss the fun.

Team Robur
Team Robur was put together with athletes that put their hands up individually looking to be added to a team.
We are a mixed bunch from different military service/backgrounds all with our own stories of resilience and survival.
We had to come together without knowing each other and quickly come up with solutions to get us all through each challenge.
There is a reason we won team favourite last year. We weren’t the quickest or the most talented team but we showed guts and determination and our teamwork outshined our individual talents and or adaptability.
We are back this year as long life friends with great admiration and respect for each other. The Veteran Games overall has made us feel proud to be part of our Defence/veteran community.
